normalcy?

Last night I spent the evening with my small group peeps. It was a good time and a nice evening after my emotional rollercoaster day. Back at home Spooky kept looking at me funny like she was thinking "you took the kitty away and it didn't come back, don't touch me." I spent the evening cleaning and washing everything the kitten touched. I wanted to get the scent off of everything.

By this morning things were back to normal. Misty and Spooky ate breakfast and did their usual morning routine. The day was good. I left work early to vote. It took about 10 minutes. Which was nice since other people had waited over an hour to vote. Crazy! Patty & I drug our bodies to the fitness center and worked out. I'm determined to get a good start in November. That's just one of my harvest resolutions.

Ok so here's your chance to laugh at me. :) I threw all the cat toys away because the kitten had played with some of them. So tonight I ran out to Petco and bought Mist & Spook new toys and 2 scratching post. I guess there might have been some guilt involved. I feel bad for putting them through the ordeal. I found out that they are open until 10. So if you need to buy pet supplies and its after 9, no worries.
